If it rains, do you still make the cruises?

Even if it rains, we still do our cruises.  In case of really bad weather with lots of winds, then we might cancel.  If we do, we try the best that we can to call our passengers to let them know the night before or the morning of the cruise.  Even with a rainy day, Grosse-Île is a very beautiful site to visit.

What are the origins of "Île de la Sottise"?

There is no "sottise" under that name.  The English people baptised it "South-East Island".  For French speaking people heard it differently and it became "Sottise Island".  It's from that pronounciation confusion that Sottise Island was born!

Do we need to make reservations to make a cruise?

It is always preferable to make reservations up-ahead.  Note that we do not ask any deposits nor do we ask your credit card number so if ever you have to change or cancel your reservations, there will be no fees.  We only ask your name, phone number and the number of people you're going to be.  So it's all in your interest to make your reservations up-ahead.
